We’re bringing real human connection to virtual meetings. Through our technology, teams are immersed in meeting experiences that seamlessly integrate presenters and any type of content. We give remote participants the sense of being physically present at meetings, pitches, demos or trainings. We’re building software that is simple to use, works with existing equipment and that operates fully autonomously.

We founded Nimagna with the goal of redefining digital communication that allows for natural interactions between humans and make virtual encounters feel truly alive and real. When we accomplish this, more companies will be able to scale their global businesses and more teams will have joyful and productive collaboration without the need to physically meet. This will reduce business travel, improve employee productivity, and help to lower the world’s carbon emission.

Our two founders, Christoph and Stephan, have been fortunate to have had past success with other ventures. Being two software engineers from Basel, Switzerland, they share a common passion for computer science, visual computing, sports, and turning cool ideas into successful products.
While working in executive roles leading highly distributed teams and with global customers for the past 15 years, they’ve been traveling the world, meeting and collaborating with, training, or selling to partners and customers. However, a couple of years ago the question arose why their travel cannot be substituted with digital tools and online meetings, concluding that today’s tools are lacking fundamentals in interpersonal communication and human perception.
